You may be thinking that am about to write a poem but am not. Am just amazed at the rate women are getting pregnant. Not that it's a bad thing. Am just wondering is it just me or there are many pregnant women around. If you have not noted, just making it your assignment for a day. Do the counting. If you don't hit over twenty per day especially in town, then...... it's just me!
I'll tell you what i think. Try to analyze what period you made your observations. A while back I asked a mid-wife friend of mine whether babies come randomly or in fact they have seasons, like for baby booms. To my surprise, she confirmed that there are seasons in this matter and she says it is largely affected by the common socio-economic calendar that we all in our society share. So, there you have it! ReplyDeleteI agree with your mid wife friend. Sometimes It scares me when everywhere I turn, I see a pregnant woman.
ReplyDeleteThis is my take, its a common phenomena that when a man buys a maroon car all over sudden maroon cars seem to be everywhere. Get close to yourself and if your wife is not pregnant then perhaps a close relative or an immediate neighbour is and as such that has activated your thought pattern towards a particular line which is 'every woman seems to be pregnant now', that's me!.
