“God could not be everywhere”

So He gave us mothers

God's finest angels

To watch, guide and help us through

As we march towards our destiny.

Mothers!

You are worth far more than rubies

And we have full confidence in you

For to us you are priceless, value unmatched

For you bring us good, warmth and hope.

You've worked vigorously

Your arms are strong for your tasks

Your hearts, our living room

Your minds, our wardrobe

You are clothed in strength and dignity

You speak wisdom and faithful instructions

You are our light in dark nights

Our sunshine in gloomy days

What else would we ask for?

But to thank God that we are

Blessed among other children

To have mothers like you.

And out of the depth of our hearts

Wells a great tide of love and prayer

For the priceless treasure that is

Confided to our life-long keeping

You cannot see it's intangible waves

As they flow towards you mothers

But in these lines, you hear

As if it was the distant beatings of its surf.
